My name is Darren Kingshott and I am a professional wedding photographer and have been for the last 15 years .

A Bit About Me

I will keep this bit short otherwise It gets a bit boring talking about me all the time !

I am married with 2 beautiful daughters.

l live in Kings Langley Hertfordshire and grew up in Bushey.

I have been into photography from the age of about 12 including videography

I have photographed well over a hundred weddings in the past 15 years all over

the country and have worked at many amazing wedding venues including Ireland.

I always wear a suit to all the weddings I photograph as it shows respect and it's smart

I always get complimented on this because many photographers choose not too.

Away from wedding work I enjoy photographing Landscapes portraits and get a bit arty and like to test my ability to capture something special, And In March 2013 I captured probably my favourite photograph 'The Hair flick' the timing between the model used and camera was key during taking this shot .

Location was Croxley River in Hertfordshire and it took 5 attempts to capture the perfect shot.

I entered this image into the National awards hall of fame competition through the Guild of professional photographers and very pleased to have been selected and to receive this national award
